Evaluation of Theodore Roosevelt's presidency
Roosevelt Evaluation Poll
Theodore Roosevelt's presidency scores a high 87.2237% according to the National Unofficial Rankers of American Presidents (NURAP). The reason for the high score is mainly the lack of unnecessary involvement in the lives of the American people by the government under the order of the President (in other words, he minimized the government's role in the people' day to day activities, and yes, that is a good thing). By cutting down on government intervention, he cut down on government spending, which lowered the national debt. In addition, away from all the politics, he saved millions of acres of natural forest! This could be the most valuble action that any president could have done.
